For the best products, we don’t need to go far from home. The Veluwe, Salland, and the IJssel Valley offer wonderful producers we love working with. Thanks to their philosophy and the quality of their products, they are a perfect match for Restaurant Intens. And what about our very own new vegetable garden? Since the opening of Restaurant Intens in 2012, we have increasingly specialized in dishes that are not only delicious but also responsible. Through our conscious choices of ingredients and healthy preparation methods, flavors truly come into their own and nutritional values enhance one another.

Farm De Kolke

Farm De Kolke in Voorst is part of the Beekzicht estate, an area of about 400 hectares of land. The current residents have lived on the farm since 1987 and have been cultivating various types of potatoes, vegetables, and grains for many years. At Restaurant Intens, we use the barley and wheat from Farm De Kolke to brew our own Wellness Weizen, which is available exclusively with us. And you can taste it!

Brewery Chamaven

At Restaurant Intens, you can discover the specialty beers from Brewery Chamaven. This Zutphen-based brewery was founded by a group of friends with a shared love for beer. In 2017, their first beers entered the market, quickly followed by many successes. Each beer is made with the finest ingredients and brewed with care and attention to create a unique taste sensation! And what makes it extra special? In collaboration with Farm De Kolke, Brewery Chamaven has brewed our very own Wellness Weizen.

Beekeeping 't Haagje

Near the hotel, our guests will find our very own bee hotel, where we harvest our own honey in collaboration with Beekeeping ’t Haagje from Epe. This small-scale beekeeping business, led by beekeeper Wilfred, produces honey in both the Netherlands and Hungary. The bees are not only essential for the delicious honey, but they also play a crucial role in pollinating crops, allowing fruits to grow. Thanks to this collaboration, at Restaurant Intens you can taste the very best nature has to offer!
