Sauna master Robin Lukassen from Thermen Bussloo wins the Aufguss World Championship play-offs

Last weekend, Thermen Bussloo was entirely dedicated to the international Aufguss WM Playoffs 2026. Sauna masters from various countries came together to present their most impressive Aufguss shows and compete for a coveted Golden Ticket to the world championship.

With powerful towel-waving techniques, captivating stories, music and unique scents, the participants transformed the sauna into a veritable theatre. After a weekend full of exciting and creative shows, the winners have been announced.

A special home win for Robin Lukassen

For Thermen Bussloo, the event concluded on an especially festive note. Our very own sauna master, Robin Lukassen, managed to impress the judges and took first place in the individual competition. A remarkable achievement at her familiar workplace and in front of her colleagues and guests.
With this victory, Robin has secured a Golden Ticket for the 2026 Aufguss World Championships. We are incredibly proud that she will be representing Thermen Bussloo and the Netherlands at the world championships.

On to the World Championship

The winners will soon be heading to Aufguss WM 2026. The World Championship will take place from 13 to 20 September at Satama Sauna Resort & Spa in Germany.
