Thermen Bussloo sauna master Robin Lukassen wins Aufguss WM Playoffs

Last weekend, Thermen Bussloo was the stage for the international Aufguss WM Playoffs 2026. Sauna masters from several countries came together to showcase their most impressive Aufguss shows and compete for a coveted Golden Ticket to the World Championship.

Using powerful towel techniques, captivating storytelling, music and distinctive fragrances, the participants transformed the sauna into a true theatre. After a weekend filled with exciting and creative performances, the winners have been announced.

A special home victory for Robin Lukassen

The event ended on an extra celebratory note for Thermen Bussloo. Our very own sauna master Robin Lukassen impressed the jury and claimed first place in the individual competition. A remarkable achievement at his home resort, in front of his colleagues and guests.

With this victory, Robin has secured a Golden Ticket to Aufguss WM 2026. We are incredibly proud that he will represent Thermen Bussloo and the Netherlands at the World Championship.

On to the World Championship

The winners will soon be heading to Aufguss WM 2026. The World Championship will take place from 13 to 20 September at Satama Sauna Resort & Spa in Germany.
