A fresh new look for Restaurant Intens

In the week in which we are celebrating Thermen Resorts’ 20th anniversary, we are also marking a special moment for Restaurant Intens: the opening of the completely refurbished restaurant at Hotel Thermen Bussloo. It boasts a contemporary, sophisticated look that reflects what Intens stands for: gastronomy, hospitality and the dining experience.

An interior that suits Intens
The new interior, designed by Linda Pol, is in keeping with Intens’s gastronomic ethos and enhances the fine dining experience we aim to offer our guests.

Maître Dirk-Jan Driever is also proud of the end result: “With this new look and feel, everything comes together even better. The ambience complements the fine dining experience we aim to create at Intens. Atmosphere, hospitality and gastronomy now form an even more cohesive whole.”

Dutch gastronomy with a distinctive signature
Intens’ culinary identity has its roots close to home. The eastern Netherlands is a key source of inspiration for head chef Kevin Schlaman and his team. Using carefully selected regional ingredients alongside international flavours and techniques, each dish takes on its own distinctive signature.

Head chef Kevin Schlaman: “I love putting Dutch produce in the spotlight. Our Dutch soil yields wonderful produce. A culinary evening isn’t necessarily about expensive and exclusive ingredients. It’s actually the local produce that makes a dish unique and provides surprises.”

With this refurbishment, Restaurant Intens’s culinary signature is now complemented by a setting that suits it even better.
